"Now let's look at a great Omaha hand--a great Omaha flop for a good starting hand. I'm starting with jack ten of diamonds, nine eight of clubs. And the flop comes, and it is this. Ace of diamonds, seven of spades, six of diamonds. That's a pretty good flop for this hand, and I'll show you why. I've got my wrap straight draw working, I've got the nine and eight working. At this time nine, eight, seven, six--that's four cards to a straight. And look at this. I can get a straight if a five comes off, because I'll have nine, eight, seven, six, five. I can get a straight if an eight comes off, because I'll have ten, nine, eight, seven, six. I can get a straight if a ten comes off, because I've got the nine and the eight. You see, there are a number of ways to make a straight. That's why they call this a wrap straight draw. Plus, this is very strong for me because I've got four to a flush, and the ace of my suite came off so I'm less worried about having someone have a higher flush if I hit my flush with the jack and the ten of diamonds."
