"Now, let's talk about the forced betting in Omaha. Omaha is a hold 'em game, so just like Texas Hold 'Em, it's usually played with blinds instead of antes. The reason is this. Say everybody has to ante, and puts one chip in the pot. You know, if you think about it, that's almost like putting no chips in the pot, because if you have four type players at a table who aren't interested in putting more in unless they have a really strong hand, than it's going to be kind of a draw. So, if we use blinds, and the small blind is one, the big blind is two, we have forced action. We have two people in a four person game that are vested already, before the cards even come out, and then we have two people that aren't. And here is how we force action in Omaha."
