on 8/2/2008 Monica your videos have been a great help for me. I recently had my neck fused from C3-C7 and was instructed to have therapy. Knowing the therapists in my home town are not that great, I went on the web and found your videos and I thank you for the help that you have given me.

Video Transcript

"Hi. I'm Monica and we're going to do another neck exercise. This one will be another stretch. What I want you to do is very gently bend your head down to one side. It's almost like you're trying to touch your ear to your shoulder. So, just a very gentle movement. You should feel a good stretch all right in through the side of your neck here. If that's not enough of a stretch for you, you can very gently put your hand on your head and just kind of pull down a little bit. Another thing you can do is if you are sitting on a chair you can grab onto the chair with the one hand and come up like this. So, this just helps anchor your shoulder and pull down on your head at the same time. Making sure you switch to the other side. Again nice and gentle it shouldn't feel painful or intense. You want to do both sides holding about thirty to sixty seconds for each side."
