Lots of couples are looking for do it yourself wedding invitations. The main reason for this is cost. Instead of paying a printing company hundreds of dollars for the paper and the printing of the invitations, people can save some cash this way.
Once you have your template and have selected a good font, and followed proper procedure, you will want to print out a couple of test runs to see how they look.
Don't get discouraged if you don't succeed right off the bat.
Step1
The first thing that I always suggest to people is to get an idea of what type of invitation they want for their wedding. What is the theme of the wedding? What type of ceremony? By answering these questions, people can start moving towards creating their own wedding invitations.
Step2
Next, I suggest looking for some templates. Unless you are proficient at using various publishing software, I would suggest finding some wedding invitation templates on the web. Be sure to check out the resources section for my top suggestion.
Step3
It is important that you utilize the proper wedding etiquette. Again, I will make a suggestion in the resources area at the bottom. Just because you are doing it yourself does not mean you'll want to make it so different that people don't recognize your invitation. This is a special day and you certainly don't want to botch things up.
