  • Be careful to not graph your function beyond the domain (x - values) given.
Step1
Graphing piecewise functions is similar to graphing lines. The difference is that you are going to graph a piece of each graph. Some piecewise functions look like they connect and many do not.
Step2
Remember to draw your x-y coordinate plane or use graph paper.
Step3
Graph each part of the piecewise function. Remember to only graph the function for the x values given. Do not graph the entire function.
