For a great variation, let an audience member sign the card for greater effect.
When you move the bottom part of the deck to the top, you can pull it slightly forward and angle your hand downward to conceal the top part of the deck falling.
Practice infront of the mirror many times first
Remember that you can see what is going on, but the audience cannot
Watch your angles!!!! Don't embarrass yourself by doing the trick before your ready!!!
Step1
Hold the deck of cards in your left hand.
Step2
Cut the deck by lifting half of the deck with your right hand and flip a card over and reveal it to the audience (or mirror while you are practicing your angles.)
Step3
Place the card in the right hand back on the left hand and use the pinky of the left hand to mark the spot between the top and bottom halves of the deck. (see image) Leave your right hand covering the deck.
Step4
Pretend you are straightening the deck (use the mirror to watch the angles and hide your real actions) and let the bottom half of the deck fall into your left hand.
Step5
grab the cards that you droped into your left hand with your right hand as you fake straightening the deck and pull them up and past the top half of the cards. You may need to widen your grip with your left hand.
Step6
Let the top half of the deck fall to the bottom, and the bottom half is now on the top.
Step7
Riffle the cards, and then flip over the top card and wow the audience.
