"Hi this is Diana for ExpertVillage.com and one of the things that people like to give as a gift is a single rose, some times to the mother of the bride or the groom. So I picked one rose that is the best one of my bunch, I have taken most of the leaves off and of course all of the thorns and I am going to take a ribbon and this is going to be a double ribbon. So I am going to take 2 pieces of ribbon that are approximately the same length and I am going to put it around the stem and tie a regular bow. You can leave the ends hanging just like this or if you have the kind of ribbon that curls you can use your scissors, open them up - hold the pressure and curl the ends of the ribbon. You can also use a water tube on the bottom, just fill the little tube with water, you can get these at a florist or at a craft store and have a little bit of water there so that the rose stays fresh.
