"Welcome to Expert Village, this is Kim Brown. These are really important for a bride doing her own hair, or a hairstylist just learning how to do up dos. These are my 3 favorite tools. This is just an old-fashioned back combing brush with a rattail. These you can get them at most beauty supplies stores, and I am sure you can find them on the internet. It has got a nice set of bristles. When you are brushing the hair, you want to use the inside of the bristle instead of brushing against, just like that, straight on with the bristles. You want also use the edge of bristles and brush up against the hair. That gives you a nice and smooth working surface. These are just great brushes to work with. The next is rattail comb. These are great for parting the hair up, getting it nice, combing the hair so that you get a nice clean section where you are going to do a set, or even when we are just working and working your curls in so you have nice edge to part with, and then nice fine bristles to comb the hair. This is a backcombing comb and these are little metal ends coming really handy to brush up the ends of the hair, to soften the ends of the hair, to try to make some designs. This comb is really good to back comb with. This is really a great tool. For more information on the wedding tips that I gave you today, we can contact us at kimandcosalon.com."
