"MAN: So now, I'm going to show you how you can publish your document. And first off to do that, you just want to go over to the right and click on the Publish tab. And what Publishing do is it publishes your spreadsheet online for anyone to view. And it will generate a unique URL that you could send. You can send people a link to it, and then they could go online and just look at it. This is kinda similar to sharing, except they don't have to have a GMail account and--to be like a collaborator, whatever. It's more similar to just sharing as a viewer. But let me show you how this works real fast. So you'll just hit Publish now and now it's online, and this is the link right here. If I click on it, you can see it opens up. There's no functionality; I'm just able to view it. And then you have some other options. You can choose to automatically re-publish when changes are made, or you can do that manually if you want to make a whole bunch of changes and then look over it. And then re-publish it, you have to do it manually by doing it here. You could stop publishing on the Web at anytime just by hitting Stop publishing. And you can see if I go back to this, where it's published and hit Refresh, you can see it's gone now. But if I leave it published, let me show you a few more things. I can choose to publish only certain sheets. I've got two sheets or all sheets. And then you've got the Subscribe option right here, and you can view it as a feed. And then there is some more publishing options. And there's just a couple more things you can choose to file format, like this. The sheets again and then generate a URL. Just a couple more things right there. But this is how you can publish your document on the Internet. And then it's real easy to send this link to people who you want to view it. But you have to remember this is public, so anybody can view it if they had this link. So if you want private sharing, more likely you want it just in five particular e-mail addresses as viewers. But anyway, that's how you publish your Google spreadsheet in Google Docs."
