" Hello again everybody. I'm Terry Bowden with Expert Village. Today we're talking about filing your taxes on line. Now, we are in the Turbo Tax page. When we sign on in to the free Turbo Tax link, we come up with this page which says, Have you used Turbo Tax online before and if you haven't of course you answer no because it takes you to creating a user ID go through and you put all that information in to get your ID and brings you up to tell us about you page. If you look it says federal returns 0, of course we haven't done a federal refund, we just started, so you just put in all your information, first name, last name, social security number, birth date, occupation, best contact phone, your state of residence on December 31st, 2007. Now if you moved of course, you would put in like I said, you would put in whatever your residence is on December 31st, 2007. So let?s say if you moved in January, then you would of course go back to that address. Very very important there. It asks you questions does any of these apply, my parent or someone else can claim me as a dependant on their return, I served in the armed forces 2007, I was legally blind as of December 31st and/or this person passed away before filing this return or none of the above. So this is the first page you'll encounter and it talks about you and all the information to get started. Now in our next segment we will get more into the taxes and going more in depth into the program."
