The Ball Icebreaker Game

"Hi! This is Brenda, and today we are working on our icebreaker games. Icebeaker games are just great, because they allow people to get to know one another at a party or an event. And so today what we will be doing, if we were at a party, we would have everyone in a circle, and we take an object mainly like a tennis ball or just soft type of ball, maybe a children’s toy. One person would get the ball in their hand and they would throw it to someone and they would say “hi! My name is Kathy;” and that person would say Hi! Kathy my name is whatever. We would just go around the circle like this; and if you do not want to use your name then you could say hi, and name something, the favorite part about your job that you like. “I like the breaks I get at my job,” and then that person would throw it back and say what they like. And then you would throw it to somebody else, and they will say what they like, or maybe if you want to throw it to someone else and say a word that describes themselves, like “I am creative,” and they throw it back, and they would tell you something about themselves."
