Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're talking about Facebook and some of its useful applications. In this final clip let's talk about the application marketplace and also events. Back on your profile page, one last time by the applications to the left hand side of the screen, let's now click on events. Events of course are things that are coming up, friends' events, past events, it says on mine but I don't have any upcoming events. But I can browse for them or I can actually create my own event. At the top of the screen that's where you would do that, browse popular events, create an event or even export an event. One final thing to look on the applications, let's now look on the marketplace. The marketplace is much like looking, let's say the classified in your newspaper. So here you can see in this London, Ontario marketplace, we have things that are for sale, we can even look at houses, jobs, people looking for work, houses that are wanted or people needing a house, other wanted items, other items or even free stuff. So finally the marketplace again, look in your, feeling a little bit like the classifieds of a newspaper. Now that you know the ins and outs of Facebook you've become part of that Facebook frenzy, your biggest problem now will be trying to get away from your computer."
