"Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk. On behalf of Expert Village today we're going to be talking about Facebook and now you've joined so now we need to know how to use its applications. So one Facebook the first thing we're going to do now is take a quick site tour. Back on the starting page of Facebook where you typed in www.facebook.com, you'll notice at the bottom, before you've even registered you can take a site tour, that's what we're going to do now. You can also find friends that are already on Facebook, but the first thing we're going to do is take a site tour. You'll notice on the right hand side, it says site tour, now with this you can take a quick tour before you really get into everything. Now the first one of course was getting started, we've already done that, so let's click on your profile. Your profile once you filled it out is going to include both your photo, interest, your work and education history, your favorites and a whole lot more. Now another favorite is photos and notes. On photos and notes Facebook actually let's you upload as many photo albums as you want. You can upload photos and notes even from your mobile phone. In interesting feature is that when you tag your friends in photos, the photos will show up in their profiles as well, we'll discuss that in a future clip. You can also have a look at your homepage, we'll also do a feature on that, your privacy settings and one final thing that you can do too, is that before you even register, if you're wondering are some of your friends already registered with Facebook? On that main page where we did click to go into the site tour, you can also click on find your friends. It's going to take you to a page that looks like this, are your friends in here? So you'll put your email address in here and select whether it's dot at hotmail or whatever your email address is, you'll put your email password, put that in and it'll say find friends and then this way you can also discover whether your friends are already on Facebook. Now that you've had a chance to take a quick look at some of the things that Facebook has to offer for you, there you'll see that there is so much it has to offer. The next most important part of Facebook though, is to build your profile, it'll be how people can find you and about you along as friend and vice versa, so in the next clip let's talk about your profile."
