Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Cindy Glover and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm going to show you how to play the piñata game. Once your piñata is filled and you’ve closed the top, with the string that you’ve attached, you'll loop your rope through that and your rope need to be long enough to hang from a low branch of a tree outside. After you’ve hung it, you’ll designate a teenager or an adult to manipulate the rope and put your precipitants in a circle, a safe distance from the piñata and you’ll like to choose the youngest person first in order to give everyone a turn. So once that person is ready, you will blind fold him, spin him around three times. This would disorientate him which will make it more difficult to hit the piñata. The piñata stick is a stick that is nicely decorated with streamers on the end if you choose and the person manipulating the piñata will be swinging up and down and causing the piñata to be moving through the air. So the blind folded precipitant will get three times at swinging and hitting the piñata. Continue until everyone has hit the piñata until it breaks open and everyone enjoys the treats. "
