Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Cindy Glover and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I will now make the glue and water mixture for the piñata. Your measurements will be: three quarter glue to one part water and of course you will adjust your measurements according to how big your piñata is, three quarters glue to one part water. Mix it, it will seem a little runny to you but once it dries it will be as hard as it were just straight glue. Okay, once you have mixed it, take your newspapers strips one at a time, soak it on both sides, get rid of your excess and apply it to the balloon, making sure you smooth all edges down, you want the paper to be saturated but not have any liquid running off it. Your next strip will overlap the first on by a little bit. Once again smoothing all the sides down and continue the process until you’ve covered all of the balloon except for your area around the tip of the balloon so that you can open that, bust your balloon and fill it with treats.
