" Hi! This is Brenda and today we are working on our bridal shower games. Now for this game you just need a sheet of paper and a pen. What we are going to do, we are going to be writing a bridal poem and all the ladies of the group are going to be participants, but they are not going to know what the other ladies have written. So what we do first is we give it to one lady to start with and she just writes a line out that would be just a line of poetry. Say for instance the bride’s name is Kate, so she could say for instance “what a beautiful bride is Kate,” she would write it here and then she would hand it to the next lady. Now the next lady could read that line; that is fine if she reads it and so she has to write the second line, so may be this lady would write on there “for her wedding she should not be late.” That would rhyme with the lady previous. So then what we do, we fold down the first lady’s response, hand it on down the line, so that lady only sees the lady next to her, what her last response was and then she gets to write a line. May be she could put, “she will never again have to wish for a date.” So then you fold it down like this, hand it to the next lady and this lady sees only the lady previous next to her what she wrote so she wants to rhyme hers and may be she could say “I cannot wait to see the wedding cake.” So what you do you just keep passing it around in a circle like this and at the very end you will have may be twenty responses and the bride gets to read the entire poem, which is about her of course, and she can take it home with her and frame it if she would like. It might be a good idea to put on pretty stationery and may be use a pretty, very pretty type of pen and it is a lot of fun to see what the different responses can be. "
