"Hi, my name is Shelby on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to potty train today. In this segment I'm going to talk about when not to potty train your child. If you have a lot of transitions going on in your life such as moving to another home or bringing another baby into your home as well, you don't want to start potty training. Because it's a big thing to have a new baby in the house or a big move or you're on vacation, it's too many things at once. If a child's giving up the pacifier, you don't want to switch them from a diaper to underwear right away. You want to give them the time in between to adjust to getting rid of the pacifier and then letting them potty train. You really want to take the steps in potty training correctly and take it day by day. You don't want to over whelm them with too much at once."
