"Hi! This is Dan on behalf of Expert Village. And, this is using pity to get out of a speeding ticket. Now first of all, a lot of you would already be saying that this is something that only a girl can do. Now, that's mostly true. But again, going back to assessing. You want to feel your officer out first. If you can get away with it, and this is the tactic to use, you'd better do it. By using pity to get out of a speeding ticket, first of all, you are going to admit guilt. "I'm sorry, officer. I know I was speeding, but it's just been a horrible day." What you're going to want to do is show body language in all of this. You want to show shakiness, gripping the steering wheel still. You want to give the officer your information as quickly as possible to make his job easier. And, as you're giving him your information, make sure you find a chance to tell him how your day is going. "It's just been a horrible day. I just hope I can get through today." Now, obviously, if I have a really butch police officer coming to my window, I'm not going to try this at all. But, if I have a woman cop or a guy that seems really nice, I may try it. That's using pity."
