This segment is about reviewing your past. Age regression can be done for many reasons and not just to neutralize trauma. It is also possible, and this is what we're going to discuss, it is easily possible to go back to happy times in your memory. Perhaps there are departed loved ones that you would love to experience being with again. I say to you that every event that has ever happened to you in your entire life is stored in your subconscious mind. Not in your conscious mind; it has a separate set of duties and responsibilities. But in your subconscious mind that's where the files are. Think of the subconscious mind as the hard drive of your computer. We can go back and open those original files. This means you can reexperience being with people that you love. You can reexperience being a happy happy baby. And you have two ways of going back to those events in hypnosis. You can either go back in first person and physically reexperience being, for example, a happy baby. Or you can go back as an observer. There are advantages to each. Going back in first person and being your younger self again is far more emotionally ladened. And if emotion is what you want, then you would want to go back in first person. However, some of your revisiting your past, particularly happy events, is also to gain perspective as an observer and, in that case, you would go back as an observer seeing your younger self having the happy time, to gain new insight on who you are and what's going on with you. Let hypnosis help you. We say that the deeper you go, the better you feel. And however true that might be, please understand that going back and visiting happy times feels so good to do, and why not again visit grandma and grandpa or whomever else that you wish to visit who may not be with you still today. Thank you for joining us here today at Expert Village. I'm Michelle Beaudry and thank you.
