Leftovers Etiquette & Table Manners

"Hi! I am Marianne, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I will be discussing proper dining etiquette. For this session, we are going to be discussing how to take home any leftover food that you would like from your dining experience. First, you would ask to have some takeout containers brought to your table, if they don’t already box it up for you. The proper way to do that is when they deliver the containers, you don’t want to pick up your plate and just scrape the food into the bowl. You want to pick up your plate and just spoon in the contents of the item into the bowl. Then you continue with the other item in the other bowl. That is how you properly box your leftover items."
