"Hi! I am Marianne and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I will be discussing proper dining etiquette. In this session, I will be discussing, when you are out in a fine restaurant, not to combine the food items on your plate. First of all, it is an insult to the chef who has created your entrée. It is also distracting when you are conversing with the other members of your dining party for you to mix your food together. Also another thing you should not do is ask for condiments. The chefs go to great lengths in creating their entrées for you with a proper variety of flavors and tastes, so that should be avoided. When you have a variety of foods on your plate, different items, you can certainly eat them in various combinations, but you want to avoid mixing them."
