"Hi! I am Marianne and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I will be discussing proper dining etiquette. This session we will be discussing the proper selection of your dinnerware for your particular place setting. Typically, the glass and the salad bowl is positioned to the right of you. Then when you use them you can pull them in closer to you. At most fine restaurants they do serve the wine glass upside down, and if you wish to have wine you simply turn it over. That alerts the server that you wish to have a glass of wine with your meal, and so the next time you are out in a restaurant you will know which salad bowl and glass is designed for your place setting."
