"YUU ASAKURA: I'm going to teach you how to describe the time. In Japanese, AM, in the morning means "Gozen," and PM, afternoon is "Gogo." And we usually use this before the actual time. Now here in English it's going to be 1:00 AM, 1:00 PM, but in Japanese you use "Gozen or Gogo" before that. And actual time is "Ji," right here means "Hour" and "Hun" means "Minutes." So, let's say now it's 2:15 and you go number "Two," "Ni-ji," 15 is ju-go. So, go--"Ju-go-hun." So, it's 2:15 PM, so you go, "Gogo ni-ji ju-go-hun. That's how you read the time. So, look at the clock and practice."
