How to Ask & Tell Your Age in Japanese

"YUU ASAKURA: Now, moving on to how to describe your age. Okay. So it's the same sentence again, so don't worry. You're not going to learn anything new, except this word. It's sai. That means "years old" in Japanese. So let's say I am 30 years old. Watashi wa sa-ti sai desu. So you put your age right here, then you use the word sai right after that, that means years old. And that's pretty simple. So we're going to learn how to count number from 1 to 99 in the next lesson. But just remember the word sai. It's very important. And just for your information, how to ask your age is: Nan sai desu ka? Do you remember, nan means what in question. Nan sai desu ka means how old are you? So when somebody asks you: nan sai desu ka, you will use this sentence: Watashi wa se-ti sai desu."
