We are up to key number six which is all about finding your bachelors. Let's talk about who makes great bachelor candidates for a fund raising auction. Where would you find bachelors? Well of course you want to find gentlemen. You might ask your friends, certainly they know some good catches who other women or other men depending upon if you are doing bachelor or bachelorette options would be interested in. How about a local college? You could try talent scouts or modeling agencies. Other great places to look is the who is who in your town. For instances sometimes there is a best of list or most powerful under 45 and those might be great lists to look at. Charity registers will take pictures of different events around town and the gentlemen there are already supporting charity events and probably would be open to your cause. You might try sports figures, new casters, DJ's if they are well known, young urban professional types because everyone might like to date a lawyer or a doctor. Next try firemen or glamor jobs that are unusually such as a skydiving instructor, name recognition is always something that is going to help. Next I want to tell you that attractiveness and fitness are important. However, average looks can be just fine if they are driven by a personality and charisma and the ability to sell oneself on stage. Charm and personality will win over lots of bidder. Next to raise the most money you should design a bachelor auction that really suites your attendees. Think about who is your audience, are the women younger or older? Are they a mixed crowd? If so have a diversity of bachelors. Who would they like to date? Who would they like to see? Who would they like to get a chance to mingle with in the cocktail time? Who would they like to bid on and spend money? Remember that auctions are about competitive bidding, so you must have bachelors that your audience wants to compete for. You want them to be able to attend, but remember they also have to be able to spend and that means that you have to keep in mind, when you are planning your attendance who is going to be to afford to give money on behalf of your fund raiser. Finally you can put up an ad for bachelors, maybe in a local gym or maybe even on a community website advertising for gentlemen who would like to help in this unique opportunity to promote themselves and your event. I do want to add that a great way to get good attendance is to ask the bachelors to bring their own support team. That's kind of a safeguard for them because they are for sure going to have people in the audience who want to bid on them and create a lot of attention. We will see you again with more tips on bachelor auctions.
