"Again we are accentuating and emphasizing the concept of sound sequence. What you do is you take fore example a series of three words and it can be any words you like and what you are going to do is ask your son or daughter what is the first word you said and then when they have answered that question correctly, you practice a few series of words that way. Another concept to go into would be to ask them to remember what was the last word in the series so for example you have toy, box, fox. What was the first word that was said? Oh! Gosh! Mike what was the last word that was said so again you are accentuating and helping your son or daughter to develop those hearing and listening skills that you need to do while in kindergarten. Another thing to look at is oh! My goodness of course the middle word. You look at the words, you say the words to your child and you ask them what was the middle word that I pronounced or said. So again you are going to look at the beginning word, the ending word and then when you have got that down, you are going to look at what is the middle word that is said and again this is all done orally and it is done in a fun, non-stressful situation and that is about it for today, so thank you so much for listening in."
