"Hi! Thank you for visiting Expertvillage.com. My name is Yvette Parrish. I am a flamenco entertainer and instructor in San Antonio, Texas. One of the basic mistakes that people make when they pronounce flamenco they say flamingo, don’t they Robin? And it is flamenco, the word men is in the word that is a easy way to remember it flamenco and its origin are from Spain. It is a beautiful dance. I have been dancing for over four years professionally and publicly and I just love it, throughout Texas San, Antonio and I run with a dance group called Viva Flamenco de San Antonio and we dance for schools, corporate events, downtown for fiesta, the River Walk and we have so much fun. I also teach at Synergy Dance Company six classes a week and from ages 5 to 50 are my students. So, its love for flamenco I know as soon as you try it, you are going to love it. Remember, it is power, it is pride, it is strength, it is a little bit mysterious in all ways be a lady and its lady like, but I am known professionally as La Reina Latina, because I have held some pageant titles in the past including Miss. Ethnic World. I was Mrs. Texas 2003. So somehow La Reina Latina kind of stuck for me and that is my professional stage name, but you can call Miss. Yvette. If you would like to see more videos and hundreds of pictures are on my website. You can go to www.texaslatina.com. All my information is on there."
