"I'm Steve Blank drummer in the Cruisers here to talk to you about some advanced drum exercises. Paradiddle is the most important rudiment to today's drummer lets start with playing hands and feet together and start slowly gradually speed up to our max speed were we are just about to loose it. The right limbs are hitting together the left limbs hit together. Right left right right left right left left play evenly the first hit in each paradiddle is accented then we slow back down to the starting tempo now with limbs crossed right hand and left foot hit together left hand and right foot hit together remember we are increasing connections in our brain and we can actually feel it happening ok here's the paradiddle as a quad starting with the left/right review clip 04 on single strokes quads if this is confusing start slow speed up a little slow back down the right/left paradiddle quad each quad has a different sound and feel the clockwise paradiddle quad you can also work on the paradiddle quad counterclockwise crossed with hand first and crossed with foot first"
