" Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com. I’m a professional guitar instructor, and today I’ll be discussing some advanced classical guitar pieces. Okay, next I’d like to discuss a piece entitled Romance; probably one of the most popular classical guitar pieces. It starts off in the key of E minor. The section we’re going to work with is the part that’s in the key of E minor. It’s in triplets. It’s in 3-4 time, but notice the rhythm is in triplets. Doing an arpeggio between P and A, followed by MI. Now, in order to bring out, just like in the Etude, the last Carcassi etude we did. In order to bring out that upper voice, it’s important to do a rest stroke on the top voice. Free stroke with an MI fingers. Again, those first 4 measures. Shifting. "
