"Hi! This is Kerri Hernandez and I’m going to be teaching you some advanced belly dance steps today on expertvillage.com. The next thing that I’m going to teach to you is called Egyptian twist. You’re going to twist to the side, release your hip, take it to the back and pull in and then in the other side, turn, release, go side, back in, turn, release, side, back in, turn, release, side, back in and to smooth it out… You don’t want to lift your knee all the way up when you are coming around and do that. You want to keep it on the ground… that’s called the Egyptian twist. The Egyptian twist is more of an advanced step because it is something that takes a lot of time to feel comfortable doing so, give yourself time when you are learning it and eventually it will come to you."
