"Hi! My name is Eric. On behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m here today to talk to you about the correct way to go through and power your various iPods. First of which we’re going to talk about is the current model iPod shuffle, which features the direct USB port directly physically on the unit. These units can be directly plugged in to the back of you computer; they can be plugged in to USB power adaptor, simply as such. These units can be directly plugged into the wall. One of the other accessories that are available to you is the iPod dock for shuffle, which is able to simply sit on the desk and either be plugged directly into the computer with the iPod directly attached vertically, or this unit can be plugged into the power adaptor as the regular unit does. This can be plugged into directly into a wall in your standard outlet. You’d want to verify that you’re using the correct adaptor with the pitchfork icon and the apple on the other side, signifying that the unit is USB. Next, but not least, we have your current model iPods, such as this iPod photo here, which features the dock connector, which is available for either fire wire and/or USB. One of the things that you always want to remember is that you have the dock connector icon always facing toward the front of the iPod. At that point, this unit can then therefore be plugged into the actual USB power adaptor as such. Next, but not least, we have here a discontinued fire wire cable to dock connector, which as of now no longer ships with the current unit beyond the photo, which we have here. This unit plugs directly into a power block with a fire wire port, just like the USB one here. It goes directly into your wall outlet, from there the fire wire cable is connected directly in, and the dock connector, yet again with dock connector icon facing the out, is plugged into the bottom of the actual ipod, just as such. On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Eric. Thank you for watching."
