"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to easily carve your Thanksgiving Day turkey. Now that our dark meat has all been sliced up it's time to move back to the light meat. Now the wings come in three parts, but we are just going to slice them up into two. Follow the line of the wing, just like with everything else, cutting right where the joint is. Now see how easy that is. I promise that the more you practice the easier it becomes. We are going to do another one. If you want to practice carving a turkey before Thanksgiving without actually having a turkey, I highly recommend baking up a chicken or two and practicing on them. You have the same body parts but it is a little bit smaller. It allows you to be able to follow the various joints and figure out exactly where your knife needs to be placed in order for you to cut through properly. And then, if you are having your first Thanksgiving dinner and you have lots of practice beforehand imagine how impressed everyone is going to be once you are able to cut through with just one slice."
