"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to easily carve your Thanksgiving Day turkey. Now that we have cut the entire leg off we are going to move on to the wings. Once again you are just going to follow the body of the turkey all the way down. You are going to find the joint and cut through. And you can see where I cut through, it's not bone, it's between the bone right where the joint is. That is really what you are aiming for, is to try and get the socket so that you are cutting through the ligaments and tendons instead of cutting through actual bone, because no knife is going to last very long if you are cutting through bone all the time. So it is really important, you just want to follow the side of the turkey until you get to that joint. And, if you start cutting and you feel a lot of resistance, more than it feels like you ought to, then you just want to move the knife around a little bit until you can get at that joint. So we now have the wing cut off and then I am going to start on the other wing on the other side of the breast so that we can have all of the turkey parts off before we start cutting the breast away."
