"Also I would say a slip sheet, which is basically just a little body bag for yourself. You can make your own out of cotton or silk, whatever you want to brush up against you. Especially if you're going the budget route. You can put the slip-sheet of a hotel bed if you don't want to touch the sheet or the comforter. Or if you are camping, you want to put inside of a sleeping bag. You can easily wash it, you can also use it as a picnic blanket, a table cloth, a blanket in general. I think that's a good idea. If you're staying some place for an extended amount of time, a couple of days or whatever, bring candles, bring in scents. They've got candles in little tins with lids so that you can easily pack them. Also, I just saw that Brooke Stone has a LED candle that you can just wave your hand over it and it flickers and it's an aromatherapy candle. Technology will make your comfortable. If it's your robe that makes you comfortable or slippers or pictures of your cat. Whatever you need when you're away. You're on vacation, you're supposed to be having fun so be comfortable."
