How to Use African Raffia to Decorate in an African Theme

Continuing on another way to decorate is using raffia which is like straw or hay. What I'm going to do is take a piece of the raffia. Take a candle and I'm going to wrap it around the candle very securely and tie it in a knot. Now when using raffia since it is flammable, you just want to make sure that you tie it very neatly. Cut all the excess off so when the candle burns down you always want to be aware that it won't burn on to the candle. Put it onto your candle holder and place it in a place that it could be exposed. "
