"Hi! My name is Gary Godwin and I am the general manager for Hawley's Camping Center in Wilmington, N.C. On behalf of Expert Village, this is a tape entitled how to purchase an RV. Now let's talk about the different types of vehicles out there that is available for your family. The first one we are going to talk about is known as a pop for lack of a better phrase or a folding trailer depending upon what you want to look at. Very simply it has a little box on it. You crank it up and it has a tent and has all kind of sleeping and eating accommodations and even some have bathroom facilities; go figure. In North Carolina for example, you've got to have air conditioning. With our humidity, our heat, if you don't have an air conditioner you are done. But now you might be up north or northwest and the temperatures might vary so an air conditioner might not be an option that you would like to have. That is why the sales person again comes in so very very important in this product selection because you are going to share with them your wants and they are going to set down and design one that they think is great for you. Pop up camping or the advantages; number 1, very very lightweight. You can get one down to maybe 500 or 600 pounds and some of the bigger boys up to, a lot more than that. You have high wall, low wall, you have expandos, a lot of fun. So if you want to get into camping for the first time and be economical about it, then the pop up/folding trailer division might be the best product selection for you. "
