"Hi, my name is Gary Godwin, general manager of Hawley's Camping Center in Wilmington, NC. On behalf of Expert Village, this is a tape entitled How to Purchase an RV. Now let's talk about whether you are looking for a new vehicle or used vehicle. Really the choice is yours. There are great used vehicles out there that have been taken very good care of and that might save you some money from that initial MSRP for lack of a better phrase and MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. So let's talk about the used side of it. When you are coming in to look for a used camper, be sure to let your sale's person know up front that your comfort zone is used. Now what we will do as a sales team is that we will go through and try to find out your wants and what works for you and by doing that we can hopefully find one that is within your comfort zone in the used. Let's talk about used. Used simply means that pre-owned. My advise to you is to buy a used camper from a reputable dealer or your best friend, or your mom and dad, somebody you know that took good care of it. "
