Mixing Cleaning Solution: Backyard Deck Care & Maintenance

So there is one part bleach whether it is a quart say that it is a quart we are doing less on this one but one quart of bleach, three quarts of water. So in this case we got several pints so we put in one pint here we got three pints already in there so we pour in. now one thing we need to make sure is never ever mix the bleach with ammonia. If you mix both of those together you can make a gas that is poisonous to you and it could injury you. So when we mix it that is what we did. Now you don't have to much switching around now just switch it really quick that will mix it up and we can start applying it now. Depending on the size of the deck might depend on how you actually apply it. So we are going to use two methods one is a manual application with a scrubber and we initially do that in areas were we have to clean out the green. Like over in here we got a green. We are going to manually apply that and clean it off. Remember one part of bleach three parts of water. So 25% of it is bleach."
