"My name is Csaba Tamas. I'm a travel guide and I work for Yellow Zebra. On behalf of the Expert Village, we're having this tour around the city of Budapest today in Hungary. Most parts of the basilica is the Danube; the river which divides Buda and Pest into two parts. Before they merged they were two different cities. Buda and Pest merged only in 1873 with the opening of the Chain Bridge. The Chain Bridge was designed by a Scottish man Adam Clark. In 1849 they started to build the bridge and a few years later they opened it. There was a little delay because they had an uprising aginst the Austrians and that made the construction stop for a few years. But when they opened it, Buda and Pest started to be able to merge because there was a connection between the two parts of the city."
