Full Suicide Diabolo Juggling Trick

"Hi! My name is Adria. I am one of the professional jugglers here at Expert Village.com. Right now we are working with the diabolo. That would be this here prop here. We have already learned the history of it. We have learned a bunch of tricks with it already. We have learned what defines a trick versus what defines a pattern and now we are working with suicides. We have learned the half suicide also known as the Chinese suicide. We have learned the double half suicide. Now we are going to learn the full suicide. As a simple reminder when we did the half suicide and the double half suicide, they involved wrapping like that, doing a little cradle first. Now the suicides don’t involve a cradle. As you can see there is no string around the diabolo at all. The suicide involves getting the diabolo to go very, very, very fast and you are just counting on gravitational force to make it work. You are merely tossing the diabolo up in the air and when it gets high enough, you release your left stick which follows the diabolo in the circle and you catch it again with your left hand so now we will see a completed right hand suicide. You are going to learn both the right hand and the left handed suicide. The right handed suicide is much easier because it goes with the direction of the spin. The left handed suicide is harder because you have to get the speed even faster because it goes in the opposite direction of the spin so it slows it down. Right handed suicide, look at that. It goes up and you catch the stick. Again, there is no wrapping. One more time you get the diabolo going very fast facing in the correct direction and you just spin it and release the stick. Now the left handed suicide, you have to get the diabolo going faster because we are going to throw the diabolo and have the string moving in the direction opposite its natural spin. Here we go, one more time tossing it to the left and the stick follows. Release of the stick, the higher the diabolo is. When you release the stick the easier it is to catch in your hand, so those are the left and the right hand full suicides."
