"Hi! I’m Adria, one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. I would like you to take a look at the segments which teach the one up, two up patterns and the advance one up, two up tricks, because those one up, two up patterns lead to what we’re going to do right now, which is called weaving. Weaving is based on one up, two up. Notice one ball in the left hand is not leaving the hand at all, the right hand is making the V. We’re going to weave the left hand through the balls be thrown by the right. It’s very simple: the inside ball goes up and lands on the floor, so we get another one, the inside ball goes up, and you move your left hand so that it’s under the outside, just as the outside ball is going up. That is a weave; and anything you can do with your right hand, do with your left hand as well. The left hand does a V, the right hand weaves, inside ball goes up, and then the outside ball goes up and your arm goes underneath. Now there’s another type of weave where actually moving your arm in a figure eight. It’s the exact same thing. If you wait for the ball to be at the highest point in this v pattern, you actually have more time to make the weaving and figure eight pattern. It’s the exact same thing as this; you’re merely moving your hand with it…and anything that can be done with the right hand can be done with the left. We’ve got the figure eight going with the left hand, and again we’ve got the v going with the left hand and the figure eight going with the right. Again the inside ball goes up, and that’s when you start and you go at the right speed so that your under the outside ball when it is at its highest."
