"Hi! My name is Adria I’m one of the professional, well I’m one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com and I’m going to teach you how to juggle knives, oh goodie. Now if you haven’t looked at the initial introduction to knives which was like all warning because knives are not toys, if you haven’t looked at the first aid its knife safety followed by first aid look at those first, you have to be prepared for any accidents when you’re juggling knives. Now also here at expertvillage.com Steven Bent did an introduction to club juggling, you have to be able to juggle clubs before you can juggle knives once you are proficient at three clubs juggling than feel free to pick up a knife. We’re going to do the same motion as he did with clubs an inside throw with a spin, we use the arm to give it height, we use the wrist to give it spin, more arm motion oh was a bad catch could of hurt, more arm motion means more height, more spin with the wrist means more spin, well that was kind of went without saying. So if you want a higher knife use more arm, if you want there to be more spin use more wrist, one knife inside throw at an angle, very simple I’m doing the same little movements that he did with the club, now we’re going to move up to two knives same thing he did with the clubs one, two catch, catch, one, two catch, catch, throwing first with one hand, throw first with the right hand and catch first hand, the throw with the left hand then, then we throw with the right hand first, then the left hand first and the first one that’s thrown forces you to release the other one and as you can see once I catch them both I pause cause that where that third knife is going to go. Now we want to look at where we’re holding the knives, it’s the same grip as with the club the index finger slightly ahead, now at the clubs you hold it just below the point of balance, same with the knives which conveniently enough that’s where the handle is. Always look up, always throw the same!"
