"Hi! My name is Adria and I’m one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. I’m going to teach you how to juggle three knives, when you’re holding one knife just like with clubs you want to grabs just below the point of balance which conveniently enough is where the handle is. This allows you to do two knives at the same time and strangely enough you catch them right where you’re throwing them from, now if you’ll notice my index finger is a little bit higher that way I can actually use my index finger to pivot the knife handle around my thumb, that’s what gives it the spin. To hold two knives in one hand you hold them if they’re one knife, you put the second knife underneath with the handle more inside towards your risk that way you can actually pivot the underhand knife over the top knife and that’s the basis for the start with three knives. You’re going to take that bottom knife of your right hand pivoting it using your index finger, pivoting it around the top knife underhanded throw in the diagonal, when that knife is at the top of its apex that’s what forces you to release the knife in your left hand, same hold same throw. Then you catch the second knife, you catch the first knife that you threw and the second knife will be at the top, you throw the third knife, catch the second knife in this hand and by then you’ll have the third knife caught in this hand like this, three knives switched hands. Now the basis for juggling is to continuously throw before you catch, now again another warning I’ve been doing this for years, if you feel slightly off balanced, if you feel you’ve thrown incorrectly, if you feel something is wrong jump out of away there is no shame in avoiding a knife injury. Here we go and this is a three knife cascade…"
