"Hi! I'm Josiah Owen with Expert Village. We're now going to be making homemade salsa. You need some tomatoes, cilantro, green pepper, red pepper, a few cloves or garlic depending on the size, half an onion, and a red jalapeno. You want to take the green pepper. You want to cut them into strips. After you've done that, you want to dice them into small little pieces. It all depends on what kind of sauce you want to make it, thick or runny. After that you want to peel the garlic. Just go ahead and hit the garlic with the flat blade of the knife. It'll pop right out. You want to mince the garlic as small you can get it. Remember, use as much garlic as you want. It's up to you. Now you just want to slice the red peppers. Cut those about the same size as the green peppers. I like mine really small. Same for the onion. You want to slice that down and you want to give them a good dice. After this you want to cut the stem off the jalapeno. Cut it in small little strips, as thin as you can get them and then cut them the other way. You want to take the tomato and take the top off. I personally like my tomato chunks rather large. Like I said, it's up to you. It's your salsa. Use about 3 tomatoes for this recipe. With the peppers you want to use about half a pepper of each and half an onion. You want to take some fresh cilantro. There's nothing like the smell of fresh cilantro when you're making salsa. You can fill the room with its smell. It's so delicious. We're going to chop it into small little pieces. You don't want it too fine, but you don't want the whole leaves either. Nice, medium. Get rid of some of the stems. Next thing you do is you just want to mix all that up in a bowl, add some salt and pepper for flavor and there you have it, fresh salsa. Put this in an airtight container, put it in the fridge, and refrigerate over night."
