Mozzarella Salad Recipe: Step 1

"Hi! I'm Josiah Owen with Expert Village. To start off our mozzarella salad, we're going to a whole loaf of fresh mozzarella and we're just going cut that in half. This is a great little recipe for an afternoon barbecue in the summertime. It's nice and cool and refreshing. After you've split the log in half, you're going to cut it into half inch pieces. You just want to slice them right in half. After that, you want to start slicing your strawberries. Give them a good rinse before. Some people are actually allergic to the seeds, and once you wash them off it's okay. Now we place our mozzarella in a bowl. This all depends on how big you want to make it, how much mozzarella you want to use. Of course, you can always use the mozzarella for other dishes if you need to. Make your homemade pizza, use fresh mozzarella. Add your sliced strawberries. Make sure you save some for later. Of course, you can always much on them as well. You want to add your strawberry sauce. I made this in a different videos. Go back and check that out. Put about 2 cups in there. You just want to stir it around and mix it up. You want to coat all the strawberries and the mozzarella with the sauce. Make sure you also save sauce for later too. After you've go all that mixed up, check back and we'll go over plating your mozzarella salad."
