Assembling the Casserole for Baked Penne Pasta

"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford and I'm going to teach you how to make bake penne with sausage. This is the part that I always like to do is assembling the dish. We boiled our penne and you see the stem coming off of it and drained it. We made our sauce; we made our ricotta mixture and diced up our fresh mozzarella so now everything goes into the baking dish. We got the penne and this delicious sauce, look at all that sausage and tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic and it wasn't to hard to make. We have our ricotta mixture just put dollops on the ricotta. This is much quicker to make and easier as far as assembly goes but lasagna but the effect is very similar and you'll probably notice that. We're going to add our fresh mozzarella and I want to smooth that out. It looks good hmm, it's making me hungry. When we come back we're going to bake this terrific dish, see you then."
