"Hi! This is Richard Buccola and today on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you how to make some good old fashioned American Potato salad. Now some of the utensils that you are going to be using is a big bowl. Now I actually have my potatoes in here. This will be my bowl that I will be using later on. I have another small bowl that I am going to preserve the egg whites and just mash up the yolks. A cutting board to chop up our onion and our scallion and our celery. You are going to need a nice cutting knife. I also have a nice tomato knife here. You will need some measuring cups. I have everything from a half cup, to quarter cup to cup and everything from a 1/4 teaspoon to a tablespoon. As far as water, you are going to need some water to boil your eggs and some water to boil your potatoes. So I have a big casserole bowl here. I just added my water and that's the first thing that I do. So first thing we are going to do is have our water boiling. I put a little bit of salt in both of them. It just helps the boiling and it gives the potatoes some flavor. When we get back, we are going to go over the potatoes and start this American Potato salad. "
