"Hi! This is Richard Buccola and today on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you how to make some good old fashioned American Potato salad. Okay very inexpensive side dish. It's great for barbecue, great for Summer and also good for Fall too. Coming into Fall now, I always make a lot of this stuff. I keep it on hand. You know I have a little barbecue out on my terrace; a George Foreman Barbecue that I use. It's great for grilling up burgers. You throw some on the side and you have football. Let's talk about the ingredients that you are going to need today. Definitely you are going to need potatoes; 2 1/2 pounds of red potatoes. I leave the skins on. You could use white potatoes. Red for me works better. I like it, I like the skin on them, it's healthy and it's great. You are gong to need some cider vinegar for taste. You are going to need some hard boiled eggs which I will show you how to make; 5 large eggs will do. You are going to need some Dijon mustard. Definitely with any salad you are going to need some mayonnaise but not all salads. Some salads are not necessary. You are going to need 3 stalks of celery. You are going to use a little pickle in this today. It's a nice little added taste to it and salt and pepper for some taste. When I get back, I'll tell you the hardware you are going to need for American Potato salad."
