Communication Systems for Your Business

We have in office systems, your phone system, and cellular. Offices use a regular telephone system just like you always have with different phones in each part of the office. If you're a small business, maybe you can use voice over IP. If you don't know what that means, let me clarify that for you. Voice over IP means it plugs into the cable of your cable of your computer and it goes over the internet through the cable. It's only available through cable. You can't do it any other way. However, it's very inexpensive to use. If you have a home based business it's perfect. It really works quite well and you can use that as I said, in an inexpensive price. The other one if your business is a little big, you might need a T1 or T3 with very high-speed access. That depends on how much and how fast you have to use your data and move it around. Last is cellular. In our business today we would use cell phones with the employees with GPS so we always knew where they were and help them from avoiding getting lost, which was in early days of course a problem because the customer doesn't always give you the right directions to their home. They'll sometimes forget about streets in between and things like that, but with GPS and a cell phone, wow does it work nice."
