In this segment; image and branding. The first thing they see about you if you have a logo is that logo. If you think that's not true, if I say the word house to you, do you see the word or do you see a house? Something to think about. Work on getting a logo. Please get someone that really knows what they're doing. It is the very first thing I do when I develop a new business is my logo because that is what they're going to see and I want them to be familiar with it and I want somebody who's going to do that that knows what they're doing. Involved also in that process is your selection of colors. It happen when I opened Tidy Maid, my maid service, I picked the colors orange and white. What I didn't know across on the other side of the country there was someone else opening a business used orange and white. They were called Home Depot. You can see that color makes the difference in what you're doing in your logo. A slogan, ‘quality from our house to yours’ was our slogan. It was very catchy and easy to remember, and it appeared in every type of advertising we did along with the logo, so keep that in mind. Your icon is your logo. It identifies you. Think about the Egyptians; they used hyrogletics, they didn't use words. Eventually, they mixed in words so we can understand and through the Rosetta stone. But the Myans used just hyrogletics so it was more complex to understand what they did, but the pictures told the story. Same thing with your company.
